With qualifications in Engineering and Psychology, Michael’s career has been in transport strategy, public policy development and project delivery. While in the Transport Department, Michael developed the Smart Travel Choices for SEQ Green Paper and represented Queensland in the 2006 COAG Urban Congestion Review.
Michael the spent 10 years until 2017 at RACQ where he led the Public Policy team and advocated for a safer, more affordable and sustainable transport system, including helping broker a much better ethanol mandate than in NSW.
As Principal Consultant (Mobility Policy) for Veitch Lister Consulting, Michael leads a team of policy developers, transport planners and traffic modellers focused on improving transport policies, including how best to cater for the expected rapid adoption of Electric Vehicles.
