Martin comes to us with over 30 years experience in the Australasian retail. His last 15 years have been in Petrol and Convenience most recently as Commercial Development Manager at 7-Eleven working on key projects such as 7-Eleven’s Fuel Lock App, Parcel Services Program, Facial & Number Plate Recognition solutions, Digital in-Store Media as well as Financial Services Products. Prior to that he also held the roles of National Merchandise Manager – United Petroleum and National Business Manager Merchandise Coles Express/Shell.
Lately he his focus has been on the Innovation, Technology & Mobile Commerce sectors particularly in his current role as Regional Director Australia & New Zealand at P97 Networks – specialists in integrated mobile technologies designed specifically for the Petrol & Convenience industry.
This role see’s Martin focused in bringing the right people and partners together to solve key consumer and business problems in the P&C industry, combining the latest technologies into innovative and elegant solutions. These include the use of Digital Ecosystems, Mobile Apps, eCommerce Platforms, Digital Payments, Digital Marketing & Promotions, Loyalty and Rewards solutions and then seamlessly integrating them into business infrastructures.
His key focus is always to use technology to improve the customer experience, to make the complex job or running a Petrol & Convenience store simpler for owners and staff, and to allow businesses to scale without the fear of major technology cost and time overruns.
