Peter Anderson is a seasoned businessman with a lifetime background in transport and logistics. Peter’s career has seen him engaged within both corporate and private entities at senior levels. Having been Chief Executive Officer of one of Australia’s biggest transport companies, Peter now leads the industry as CEO of the Victorian Transport Association.
Peter is the voice of the transport and logistics industry in Victoria. With an emphasis on leadership and advocacy, Peter is committed to enhancing the productivity, safety, workforce development and sustainability of the industry in Australia.
As a long-standing director of an industry superannuation fund and Chairman and Committee member of a number of Government committees, Peter has a deep knowledge of the workings of business and strategic decision making.

Matt moved into his current role of eftpos Managing Director in May 2022 after more than two years serving as the Company’s Chief Product Officer. Apart from being responsible for Australia’s domestic debit card scheme and one of the largest payment switches in the country, during Matt’s time at eftpos, the Company has rapidly evolved to also become a leader in the delivery of digital services, investing in new platforms and products for innovation, including:
- New eCommerce, mobile and anti-fraud capabilities,
- The new eQR platform, and
- A new API gateway.
Matt has had domestic and international executive experience across payments, business software, telecommunications, financial services and management consulting businesses. He’s also held leadership positions in businesses navigating significant technology and consumer driven change, as well as executive positions in Australia and North America within Mastercard’s global product organisation.
Joining eftpos has given Matt the opportunity to use his passion for (and knowledge of) payment technology in the context of business transformation – an experience he has found both fascinating and rewarding. He is proud to drive real and consequential change to help all Australians.

BRUCE BILSON

Ombudsman, Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise
Bruce Billson commenced his role as Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman (ASBFEO) in March 2021.
Bruce brings experience and knowledge to the role of Ombudsman, and an understanding of the issues facing small business, having started his own advisory business in 2016.
Bruce’s political career spans 30 years, including his role as Cabinet Minister for Small Business from 2013-2015. During this role, Bruce was instrumental in the establishment of ASBFEO and the passing of complex legislation to establish the office.
Bruce has shown his dedication to small business through various board appointments, including the Franchise Council of Australia, Deakin University Business School and Australian Property Institute, and more recently through his appointment as Administrator for the City of Whittlesea.

Craig started his career as a broadcaster with ABC Radio in 1994. Since then Craig has covered Rugby League, Rugby Union and Cricket at international level as a commentator. Craig is probably best known as a member of the “Grandstand” Rugby League commentary team.
Craig was born in the Hunter Valley town of Singleton and spent the first 16 years of his working life working as an underground coal miner in the Newcastle area before embarking on a radio career full-time in 1999.
In 1991 Craig represented the Newcastle and NSW Country cricket teams, and played against the touring Sri Lankan team. |In the year 2000, just prior to the Sydney Olympic Games where he had been selected to work as a broadcaster, Craig experienced a psychotic episode and was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. He spent 12 days in hospital and, since his recovery, has become one of Australia’s most high profile speakers on Mental Health , Lifestyle and Wellbeing.
In 2004 Random House released his highly acclaimed memoir “Broken Open” which gives a very personal account of living with Bipolar Disorder. In July 2012, Allen and Unwin will release his second book “A Better Life” In sharing his story and experiences he offers hope to others.

General Manager – Legal Metrology
Bill Loizides is the General Manager, Legal Metrology at the NMI, a position held since 2016. His responsibilities include the administration of the National Measurement Act 1960 (the Act), with over 110 staff located across Australia, who undertake:
- Education, compliance and enforcement activities
- Licensing of 3rd parties and type approvals under the Act, measurement calibration activities
- Policy functions (including the measurement law review)
Bill is Australia’s representative on the International Organization of Legal Metrology (OIML) and the Asia-Pacific Legal Metrology Forum. He also is a member of the OIML Presidential Council and deputy chair of the OIML Certification system.
Bill has been a regulator with over 30 years’ experience in a variety of fields including work health and safety, dangerous goods, explosives and workplace relations.

Brenda is a Co-founder and Director at Survey Matters, the leading research agency for the
Australian association sector.
Survey Matters provides industry research and strategy services to associations, producing data that keeps members informed and provides reliable evidence to support strategic planning, industry advocacy and promotional activities. Over the last twelve years, Survey Matters has worked with a large number of associations to across industries including health, professional services, internet and technology, manufacturing, retail and mining.
Survey Matters has worked with ACAPMA for the last 7 years, commencing with the first National Monitor of Fuel Consumer Attitudes Survey in 2015. The inaugural project reported on consumers fuel purchase behaviours and satisfaction with the fuel retail experience. Subsequent projects have evolved to assess attitudes and behaviours in relation to the convenience offer alongside, or independent to, the buying of fuel.
Prior to co-founding Survey Matters in 2010, Brenda worked for and with multi-national corporate and government organisations, in roles as diverse as project and general management, outsourcing, business planning and strategy, relationship management and sales.
A skilled business professional and strategist, Brenda helps organisations to identify their value proposition, build stakeholder engagement and track industry trends, using research to uncover insights that improve outcomes. She knows the value that stakeholder feedback has on an organisation’s success, and that strong financial performance is the result of good strategic planning and meeting stakeholders needs.
Brenda holds a Master of Management from Monash University and is a full member of The Research Society (formerly AMSRS).

Angus joined 7-Eleven as CEO in 2016 and was elected as Managing Director in 2020. He is responsible for leading the 7-Eleven team, driving the business strategy, growing the 7-Eleven brand in Australia and maintaining the company’s position as Australia’s first choice in convenience retailing.
Angus is a seasoned executive who has operated internationally as a Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer for a variety of companies across a mix of industries. His former roles include Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of The Skilled Group, Managing Director of Pacific National Rail, and Chief Financial Officer for Asciano Limited. He also previously held senior roles at Foster’s Group, including Chief Financial Officer.

Sandra Parker PSM was appointed to the position of Fair Work Ombudsman for a 5 year term by on 15 July 2018. Prior to her appointment as Fair Work Ombudsman, Sandra served as Deputy Secretary at the Department of Jobs and Small Business and its predecessors for eight years.
She was Deputy Secretary, Employment Services and Deputy Secretary, Workplace Relations and Economic Strategy. Sandra’s previous roles span across Commonwealth and State and include serving as the head of the Office of the Australian Safety and Compensation Council, a tripartite national body that oversaw the establishment of national occupational health and safety and workers’ compensation policy and standards.
Sandra has held various policy and program management roles in vocational education and training at Commonwealth and state government levels. She began her career as a teacher working in Tasmania, Canberra and London. Sandra holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Tasmania and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She is also an alumnus of the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and the Australia New Zealand School of Government.
Sandra was awarded a Public Service Medal for her outstanding contribution to workplace relations policy and program delivery in 2018.

Anna Vargas is the General Manager of Chevron Australia Downstream, a subsidiary of the Chevron Corporation, one of the world’s leading integrated energy companies.
Chevron delivers quality fuel products and services to retail and commercial customers across Australia. It operates and supplies a national network of retail locations, primarily under the Puma Energy brand, and three wholly owned product import terminals. Vargas is presently overseeing the transition of the majority of the Puma Energy branded service stations to Caltex, a global brand owned by Chevron. Prior to this, she was the General Manager of Chevron’s Product Supply and Trading Asia Pacific in Singapore.
Vargas joined Chevron in 2003 as a member of its MBA Leadership Development Program. She has held various Midstream and Downstream Sales and Operational positions in the US as well as Latin America involving Chevron’s fuels business. In Houston, Texas, Vargas served as District Manager, Retail East and the Aviation Manager for Chevron’s Eastern US fuels business. In that role she was responsible for more than $3 billion in retail petrol and jet fuels sales annually.
Vargas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas, Austin.

After a long career with Shell across Australia and New Zealand, Scott was appointed CEO of Viva Energy Australia in August 2014 and has led the company through private ownership and subsequent listing on the ASX in 2018.
